I woke up this morning and jumped on my computer to find that brand new eyes had leaked onto the internet. Let me be clear about this next part: The leak in question is confirmed, 320 kbps (that’s just about as good as you can get), and the complete album. This is not to be confused with the “Cell phone in a crowded Hot Topic” leak that hit early Saturday morning, after a series of listening parties in Hot Topic stores around the country. Paramore’s new album, brand new eyes, is out on the internet right now, ahead of its September 29th release date.
I’m going to do a full review in a few days, but I listened to the album on the way to my internship this morning, and quite simply…it’s magnificent. Seriously unbelievable. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t heard the album is fully aware of what’s in store. “Ignorance” is barely a taste of what Paramore have created here. If you are curious, go hear the leak, but for frak’s sake, go out and buy the full album next week. You can’t go wrong doing so.
