Moment of Zen:…Wha….But…Wh…Why?

One of the guys at work told this story the other day, and as he explained it, the first words that went through my brain were “Moment of Zen”.

At the G8 Summit in Europe this past week a group of protesters gathered at the steps of the Piazza di Spagna in Spain to call for action on climate change. Not that big a deal. I’d be more surprised if no one protested. But how they protested is the big deal, and I’ll let The Philosophist tell that part of the story. Here it is, your Moment of Zen:

It appears that the Group of Eight (G8) protests have hit a new low, or high depending on your prospective (I say low), with the advent of the “strip mob.” The strippers (mobbers? protestors?) decided to take their clothes off on the Spanish Steps while chanting (not quite singing) Nelly’s ["Hot in Herre"] in order to argue for more aggressive climate policies from the G8.

Happy Saturday.
