The title pretty much says it all. Today is Blink 182 bassist and +44 singer Mark Hoppus’s 37th birthday. 2009’s looking to be a good year for Hoppus, since his big cash cow Blink 182 is going on a reunion tour and releasing an album this year, and rumors of a solo album are still floating out there. Hoppus was always my second favorite member of Blink, always a half notch behind Travis Barker. His writing was always a bit better in his Blink 182 days, and his voice was far less harsh than Tom DeLonge’s was. So, happy birthday Mark, hope to see quite a bit more of you this year.
