I’ll take ‘Idiot Poll Questions’ for $1000, Alex. This came from Billboard’s homepage.
This poses two interesting questions.
One; who is the idiot who gets paid to make poll questions for Billboard and thought this was in any way a viable question? Seriously, the guy’s lost every endorsement under the sun, we’ve heard dozens of stories of how radio is pulling his songs and the like. This is one of those questions to which they know the answer before ever asking it.
Two; Are the 6% who claim to listen to Chris Brown more now:
a) people who approve of abusing significant others
b) people who just really hate Rihanna
c) Chris Brown and his entourage repeatedly voting
d) people like me who thought this was a dumb option and thus selected it to skew the data
And for the record, yes I did select the ‘listen to him more’ option just to be a jerk.

PS: Now would be a bad time to remind the public/radio programmers that Brown has yet to actually be charged with anything, wouldn’t it? Thought so.

Chris Brown is pathetic. I am not a fan, never have been, and never will be… These little rich bastard musicians think they can do anything they want and get away with it. I could care less what provolked it, how much it hurt, what he was on…you do not pull a stunt like that regardless if you are a musician or a normal human. That is sad.
I agree with you TJ about the Billboard voting. I would have selected the same as you. What a dumb survey.
Perhaps the 6% were not advocates for domestic abuse but saw Chris all over the news and thought, oh he’s that guy who did that “blah blah” song, i’m going to go and listen to it. Maybe? Just a possibilty.
Chris Brown went from nothing to having that “it” factor! I just bought his new CD Exclusive and been bumping it non stop.
